It looks like Steam is targeting strategy players this weekend with a few dozen strategy games getting the ol’ sale treatment!
And there we have it. Well, some of it. There are actually quite a few more on the list, including a bunch of DLC for Order of Battle: World War II, which itself it free to play.
So, if you’re a strategy or tactics junkie and haven’t been on Steam in a while, now might be the time to hop back on and snatch up a few games.
Also, recording for Until Dawn is almost totally finished, it should be out no later than next Friday. If it’s done sooner, it’ll be up whenever it’s done. Between now and then, I have a few little projects that are going to go up on my YouTube channel. You can find my channel right here. Remember to give the channel a sub and share for me, it boosts my minimal self confidence.
Now, this is a sale!
Phew, that’s quite the list. Every one of them worth it. Well, at least I hope Dead by Daylight is at this point.
Back to work on the Until Dawn review and some other projects. It’s all coming up on YouTube soon, right over here.
Starting with something that isn’t so much a sale as it is a new release!
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 has finally launched for PC at $24.99. Not too shabby. It’s a pretty good fighter, and I know at least one person who mains Rocket Raccoon and stomps butts with him.
Apparently Dawn of War III is up for pre-purchase. Not my cup of tea, but it’s really cool to see another installment.
Anyway, on to the sales. In my eyes, the pickin’s are a bit slim, but there are a few gems tucked away.
What? I said the pickin’s were slim in my eyes. I wasn’t joking.
Anyway, I’m going to get working on my first review since my return. I won’t be doing a review a week anymore, that’s just a bit too much when this and YouTube aren’t my job(s)…yet. I’m planning to do an actual video review, which will probably have a bit more depth than the written one. We’ll have to see how it goes, I’ve never done reviews this way before. I’m just hoping to have it done before Mass Effect: Andromeda comes out, because that’s absolutely next on the list.
Alright, I’ll see you kids soon. Have fun, chant, and fart.
Steam’s really gone out on a limb this time with a ton of adventure waiting for you. Let’s take a look at this list…
That’s not a bad little list at all, I think. Hours upon hours of aimless adventuring, dungeon crawling, base building, and espionage. Of course, there are a metric fuckton of other games included, but as usual, I just listed the ones that jumped out to me.
You guys have fun and hunt some mammoths or some wild shit. I’ll see you all soon.
Here.
There, the most important stuff is out of the way.
Yes, the new DooM’s multiplayer is in open beta and free to play between April 14 – 16 (if I’m remembering right). I’ve been poking at the reviews section for it, and a lot of people seem upset with it. Oh well, we all know I don’t take other’s reviews into account. Ever. Especially before playing something myself.
Anyway, get out there and get that beta going!
Steam has a lot going on this weekend. Seriously. A lot.
Let’s start off with the big one! Activision is the star of a publisher’s sale and there are a ton of great games up on offer. You can find the whole list here. How about we take a look at a few names on the list, too? Just for good measure.
Ok, now that the Activision sale is done, let’s move on!
The Saints Row Franchise Pack is getting its own sale as well! Up to 66% off anything Saints Row. Not bad at all considering you can get all four SR games on Steam for under $20, not counting their DLC packs. Seriously, that’s a sale for a big franchise, not dropping a 6 year old game to thirty fucking dollars and acting like it’s a favor. Sorry Activision.
Anywho, I’ll try to keep my price ranting to a minimum. The Saints Row games are silly, ridiculous, and absolutely a ton of fun. Maybe skip that copy of Black Ops III and buy all the SR games and their DLC packs for less? Well, that didn’t last long. Moving on!
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is having a free-weekend, so if you’ve been looking for some Tom Clancy goodness, here’s your chance. The free-weekend lasts until Sunday at 1PM PDT, but it’ll stay on sale until Monday at 10AM PDT.
Holy shit, I think that’s all of the majors. I hope your wallets are prepared for this. I know mine is, because it’s empty, so I don’t have to worry.
There really are a ton of great franchises getting discounted during these sales, so get out there and fatten up that library!
Stay tuned for some other cool news coming up right after this post!
Let’s see what’s on this week’s sale!
…well, ok then.
I really didn’t see anything that was of particular interest as far as I’m concerned. Oh well, here’s a link for anyone interested in seeing what’s on sale.
On another note: Origin’s Spring Sale is over. I’m hoping that a few things have happened due to it.
As far as ME3’s MP goes, the game itself is pretty cheap at $20, so even off-sale it’s not too bad.
Anyway, that’s all for now. I have Nuzlocking to do.
This weekend’s Steam sale is actually really good if you’re into first person shooters and shooting things of the undead persuasion. It’s also pretty good if you ever wanted to engineer something in space.
Not a bad little sale, really. Definitely worth a look if you’re interested.
