Any of my regular readers know that I hate, HATE Resident Evil 4. If you’re one of the uninitiated, I’ll link my review of it from last year later in this.
That said, it’ll surprise you all to know that I picked up the RE4/5/6 bundle on Steam’s sale and just spent a few minutes toying with RE4, and I never thought I’d say this, but holy shit, it’s playable. It actually plays. Y’know, like a real game. All it took was a control scheme that wasn’t programmed specifically for people with hands made of dog shit. I’m actually excited to dig into the game, so you folks can expect a review for it in the future.
Aside from 4, I haven’t gotten around to messing with 5 or 6 on PC, though I’ve beaten the stuffing out of both on console. I might review 5 again, and go through 6 again to give it a review.
Oh, right, the old review for RE4 can be found here.
That’s all for now.
You folks have fun, take care, and I’ll see you next time!
Yes, I’m coming back. I know the two of you who read this just got excited. The main reason I was gone, if you remember, was due to my old PC dying. Well, Christmas came along this year and I find myself in possession of a new comp that I can game on!
At the moment, I only have two reviews planned, and they’re re-reviews, honestly. Resident Evil 4 and 5. I just picked them up on Steam. I saw RE4 had mouse and keyboard support, so I’m hoping it’ll finally be a version I find playable. As for RE5, well, I just want to write up a better review than I did before. Now that I can take my own screenshots on PC, it’ll be much easier to review like I like to, instead of just having to get shitty press shots.
I’m also thinking I’ll get back into the Marvel Heroes community and game. I’ve put a few hours in over the past few days to see how the game has changed, and honestly, it looks like there’s a lot of fun to be had.
Well, that’s all for now.
You folks have fun, take care, and I’ll see you next time.
