I’m a bit bummed by this, but I don’t have a guide for tomorrow. While it is a bummer, I think I need to back off the guides for a little while. At least the Marvel Heroes ones.
It takes a lot of preparation and work to get one together. Especially the Marvel Heroes guides. With those, I like to have the character at 60 with gear to complement the build, like Luke Cage for example. I was thinking of doing Iron Man as I’ve been playing a lot of him lately, but not only will I not have him at 60 in time, I definitely won’t have him geared in time.
I also don’t want to just cobble something together to toss up just to have another guide there. I’d rather it be a guide that I can really focus on and get into so it’s the best it can be for the people who want or need it.
So, in short, I’m taking a break from guide writing this week. I’m hoping that next week I can put up the Iron Man one!
This doesn’t mean that I’m taking a break from reviews, however. The (possibly) final Halloween review is coming up this Friday! I say “possibly” because Halloween falls on a Thursday this year, and seeing as review day is only a day after, I’m still considering doing some kind of horror themed game.
Another thing I wanted to mention, because I can’t remember if I did before, was that I wanted to give a huge “thank you” to Kristy over at the Marvel Heroes forums for submitting my name for an Marvel Heroes Community badge and linking my blog there. The visits exploded after that, and I can’t thank her enough for it.
Now on to more Marvel Heroes related news things.
The main ones being that Doomsaw has confirmed a few new ladies for the roster! Magik and X-23 being the ones stirring up a lot of dust. The other one is Rogue. Doomsaw being Doomsaw, it’s a bit confusing as to if they’re even going to release her. I’d imagine so, I know she’s got some pretty hardcore, and vocal, fans on the forums.
Magik and X-23 are slated for “almost definitely 2014.”
Another, minor, thing is a kinda-sorta work around for Cage Fighters (hey, if Leowyld can coin the term Raccoonatics, I’m gonna coin a term for Luke Cage fans!) is by going into Midtown Manhattan. I know it’s not the most interesting way to level, but if you’re in one of those weird gap levels where the terminals are either too hard or too easy, it’s a great way to not have to suffer the pets going on strike.
That’s all for now.
You folks have fun, take care, and I’ll see you next time.
